Purpose and Scope of Information Use
The Location Assistant application is a solution that uses BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and location services to assist users with navigation and attendance check-in at office locations.
Users can register directly within the app and activate Bluetooth and location features to interact with signal devices installed at their workplace. The app now only requests “While Using the App” location permission and does not require “Always Allow”.
The app can run in the background, and this feature is enabled by default upon first installation. Users can turn off background functionality at any time through the settings menu.
All BLE and location-related activities are performed only with the user's permission and under their control.
Users are responsible for managing the information they provide during registration, including their name, password, and email address.
Scope of Information Use
The Location Assistant app and the website https://time-tracking.eton.vn use user-provided data for the following purposes:
- To support BLE and location-based attendance check-in functionality
- To send notifications related to on-site activity
- To send reminder notifications to open the app, based on user settings
Location and Bluetooth data are only accessed when the app is in use or when running in background (if enabled). The data is not used for any other purpose and will not be shared with third parties without user consent.
In cases of valid legal requests, we will cooperate and provide the necessary information to authorities. In all other cases, personal data is kept strictly confidential.
Duration of Information Storage
Personal data is stored until the user requests account deletion by contacting the admin. Once deleted, all user data will be permanently removed from our system.

Methods and Tools for Users to Access and Edit Their Personal Data
Users have the right to:
- Check, update, and delete their personal data within the app
- Enable/disable background functionality via the settings menu
- Submit check-in information and manage attendance logs
Eton will verify and handle all complaints related to data privacy and security in a timely and transparent manner.
Commitment to Personal and Customer Information Confidentiality
All personal data is stored and protected in strict accordance with Eton’s privacy policies. Data is collected only with the user’s consent and is not disclosed to any third party unless required by law.
In the event of a data breach or unauthorized access, Eton will promptly notify affected users and the appropriate authorities.
Eton is not responsible for any issues arising from users submitting false or inaccurate registration information.
